Tony R. Batiste, a native of New Orleans, LA, accepted the call to the ministry in 1995. A lifelong Christian, Tony accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the tender age of 10. Since 1995, Tony has served God in numerous capacities such as Associate Minister, Youth Leader, Youth Director, and Executive Director for a prominent denominational convention on the local, regional, and state levels.
 
 
 Members of the dynamic ministry of Victory International Christian Center of Ocean Springs, MS, he and his wife Tenesha Danielle, accepted the calling to plant a ministry in Gautier, MS.
 
 
 Pastor Tony is known throughout the state of Mississippi as “Uncle Tee.” Uncle Tee, as he is affectionately called has a strong passion for youth and leading people to Christ.
 
 

Pastor Ken Braxton and the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church of Gulfport have placed Pastor Tony and Lady Tenesha Danielle under their spiritual wings. They will serve as the Parent Church to HOPE Community Church.
 
 
 
Pastor Tony and his wife, Lady Tenesha Danielle, own Tenesha & Company a full service event planning and consulting firm. First Lady Tenesha is also the District Director of Human Resources at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
 
Pastor Tony has three adult children, Dedrick (deceased) Jeremy and wife Sherrica, and Brittiany who all resides in Louisiana and the youngest daughter, Chloe Janee'.
 
Pastor Tony enjoys encouraging and empowering others. He believes in giving back your talents, treasures, and time.
